$127,601 Awarded to Secretary Hit at Intersection
A 23-year-old female who worked as a secretary was involved in an accident in Bridgeport when another car did not stop at a stop sign. She had whiplash injuries to her neck and back, which resulted in a 5% disability of her thoracolumbar spine. Allstate Insurance Company argued that our client was exaggerating her injuries and therefore offered her only $6,000 to settle her case. After deliberating for one hour, the jury awarded her $127,601 including interest on her case.
