Personal Injury Attorneys Tremont Sheldon Robinson Mahoney are proud to support the local community and organizations. For over 50 years, Tremont Sheldon Robinson Mahoney has helped the citizens of Connecticut recover from injuries received by others, and during those 50 years the firm has continuously given back to the community through volunteer work, donations and other philanthropy.
Currently, Tremont Sheldon Robinson Mahoney is proud to support MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) Connecticut and their Victim Services Program. Tremont Sheldon Robinson Mahoney has contributed to the Victim Assistance Training Institute to train volunteers in becoming victim advocates. This training allows MADD to reach more of the underserved population of victims in Connecticut.
Tremont Sheldon Robinson Mahoney has also contributed to the Mercy Learning Center. Since 1987, Mercy Learning Center has provided basic literacy and life skills to low-income women in the greater Bridgeport area. As the motto of Mercy Learning Center, "Educate a woman...Educate a family," clearly demonstrates, the mission of the Center is to bring about a positive change to the problem of illiteracy; specifically, to provide basic literacy and life skills training using a "holistic" approach within a compassionate, supportive community.
The Center's programs focus on empowering, and providing dignity, economic self-sufficiency and hope to the most vulnerable members of society. By educating these women, Mercy Learning Center provides critical training to help functionally illiterate women improve their skills and earning potential, creating a more hopeful future for themselves and their children.
