$275,000 Awarded to Doctor in a “Minor” Motor Vehicle Accident
A 60-year-old doctor was in a “minor” motor vehicle accident. He had tapped his knee against the steering wheel and expected that the bruise would be gone within a couple of weeks. “I really don’t know why I’m here,” the doctor explained, but he wanted to be sure that his automobile damage was repaired and that his small medical bill would be paid. To his own surprise, his knee started to become worse, until one day it totally gave out causing him to lose his balance and fall. Our doctor/client underwent two knee operations before he completed his treatment. Tremont Sheldon P.C. was able to successfully settle his case for $275,000.
