Tremont Sheldon Robinson Mahoney‘s Lauren Vasil Participates in Community Outreach Summer Project

June 22, 2010

GBBA Members gathered June 22, 2010 to give back to the Greater Bridgeport community for the Community Outreach Committee’s summer project. Members prepared our famous ziti and meatballs lunch for the Thomas Merton Center in Bridgeport. Though the center feeds over 250 people a day, it is much more than a soup kitchen. It has expanded its services since opening its doors more than 30 years ago. In addition to meals, the center now offers shelter and health services to the homeless, elderly, working poor, and the sick. Tremont Sheldon Robinson Mahoney‘s own Lauren Vasil (pictured above on the right) happily assisted serving lunch.
