Bridgeport priest named in sixth sexual abuse lawsuit in Connecticut is residing in Florida!
Father Walter Philip Coleman, who once served as priest of St. Patrick Parish (now known as The Cathedral Parish, of Bridgeport, Connecticut) and who has been named in yet another sexual abuse lawsuit is reported to be residing in Florida for close to 20 years.
He is known to have still volunteered in at least two churches in Florida even after the first allegations were filed against him; this prompted the Archdiocese of Miami to issue a warning barring the ex-priest from conducting local services.
Coleman’s last known address is Pompano Beach, Fla.
