Consistent with the stated zero tolerance policy of the Diocese of Bridgeport, Bishop Caggiano has suspended a Fairfield County priest based upon “credible evidence” that Stephen DeLuca had abused a child. Father Stephen DeLuca had been serving as a priest in residence at St. Catherine of Siena parish in Riverside, Connecticut and also serving as chaplain to Greenwich Hospital.
