Hit and run injures 26-year-old Hartford woman

A recent hit and run in Connecticut sent a 26-year-old woman to the hospital with injuries. According to media reports and a video that caught the hit and run on camera, the incident occurred immediately after the 26-year-old woman was dropped off by a friend. As soon as she exited the car and started walking toward an apartment complex, she was hit by a car traveling down the street. The driver of the vehicle that hit her did not stop.

Lawsuit Filed Against Episcopal Church Youth Group Leader in Milford, Connecticut

Tremont Sheldon Robinson Mahoney filed a lawsuit against an Episcopal Church Youth group leader in Milford, Connecticut on the behalf of Jane Doe. In approximately 2007 , Jane Doe, was a minor when she was sexually assaulted by Jesse Osmun. At the time Osmun assaulted Jane, he was working as the adult advisor to a youth group at St. Peter's Church in Milford, CT. The youth group was called the Kenyan Project, and Jane was a participant in that program. Jesse Osmun sexually assaulted Jane on the premises of St. Peter's Church, an Episcopal parish in Milford, CT.

A civil lawsuit has been filed against the Newington Board of Education as a result of two former students' claims of sexual abuse by James Brown, a former physical education instructor at the John Wallace Middle School in Newington, Connecticut. The assaults took place in the school's gym locker room showers during the school day during the 1989-1990 school year. At the time, Brown was serving as a long-term substitute for the regular classroom teacher who was out on leave.
