The firm has experience representing patients who have been harmed by perforations during laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures, as well as cases in which colonoscopies were not performed in a timely manner. In a recent case, the firm recovered more than $800,000 for a patient who developed cancer that was not detected by the regular sigmoidoscopies that her doctor had recommended instead of the more thorough colonoscopy procedure.
